Send bulk emails + HTML ?

We like the feature of being able to send bulk emails to all the users, however we need the extra functionality of HTML being inserted into the emails.

There are a few modules that seem to do this, but dated back to 2004. Any more recent modules, or when the next version of XOOPS is released, will the 'admin/email users' function be able to send HTML ?

NO to the Microsoft Office format as an ISO standard.
