Just installed on localhost machine;
Environ is:
Apache 2.0
PHP 4.1.1
MySQL 3.4

I can log in to the site as normal and preform all of the basic user functions, but an am unable to login to the administration mrnu.

When I select the administration menu link I get:
"This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed."
With Submit and Cancel buttons displayed.

Submit brings me right back....

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Try a 'search' here - it has come up before. I found this one here but I am not at all sure it relates to local host machine

There is this from a comment in an FAQ:

Administration Menu have an error
Make sure that the cache folder is chmod 777. Check if adminmenu.php exists, if it does back it up on your computer and delete it from the server. Then access the admin area answering "Yes" when you receive the message again.
