hey everyone i want to make a xoopsforlife website but i was wondering if there is any good free domain sites so that i can make a kick ass XOOPS site deticated to XOOPS for there work

What are you referring to in regards to "free domain sites"?

well i got a hosting company so i need a free domain company but if there are free hosting that would support XOOPS those sites would be great

I don't know of anyone that offers free domains. If you go tohttp://1and1.com/ you can get a domain for $5.99 US per year.

Perhaps you could display Google Ads. That would easily cover the domain costs.

I'm not sure I quite understand why you're looking for a free domain. These days, domains are really cheap. Since you already have a hosting account, I would think adding $6 per year would be a manageable expense.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your intentions though.

depends on the host you have, if you sign up with them you get a free domain. but if you have a host already you will need to purchase a domain. which is around $6 for a YEAR as JMorris has said a couple times.

you prolly wont have any luck finding just a domain name for free. Quote:

you can go through your host. normally they can get you some deals because you are with that host. but do a google search for domain purchase. you will get gobbs of results back.
