if anyone can fix my problem im willing to pay /donate whatever i am highly frustrated i've been fighting with this setup the last 2 wks. anytime i try and modify any html content i end up getting white screens or a screen with no formatting on my newbb...

it even happens on the default theme, the viewtopic.php is just not formatted at all, im at my wits end, no clue how to fix this, i dont wanna reinstall/uninstall or anything, i've read a few ppl say to delete all the php files in templates_c but everytime i do that it seems to cause more problems, i tried updating system and forums module and clearing templates_c is there a certain order to take?

again ANYONE who feels like trying to help me i would be most appreciative just PM me on the forums.

so even if im anonymous and im browsing my forums the viewforum.php shows fine, but if i click on ANY topic, which would then use viewtopic.php the formatting is just terribly hosed; any ideas?

so here i am having problems with another server using 2.0.13.2 and cbb1.16a, so i figure maybe it's my server config, so i install a new server, php 4.4 MySQL 4.x, apache 2.2, and XOOPS 2.2.3, then updated to 2.2.4, so then i get all my various modules up and installed, have 3 buddies helping me test for errors, get the forums v2.32 and we start to create all the various forums, to which go with our custom groups etc. and have everything working, got all the modules working, forums working good.

Then last thing i need to do is make some html changes to my custom theme, so i do that, and then when you goto a forum post that's viewtopic. it gives an unformatted page, so i try default theme, same thing i clear templates_c with rm *.php , same thing, i try updating system and forum module, and same thing, i rename newbb to newbb_broke, and extract a new one to newbb, same thing, as it stands now you can browse all the forums, but if you try and click on a topic EVEN as anon you get the following:

a white screen , if i turn on phpdebug i see the following:
