Hi!
I would like to know more about, how to use XOOPS legally for commercial purposes. I will give some situations, they expand each other:
- I would like to start a portal for an organization, the hosting is on the servers of a local ISP, they have preinstalled php, mysql, apache on their servers.
- Then I would like to make new modules for XOOPS corresponding to the requests of the organization
- Then I would like to make modifications to the base XOOPS system.
- If I make these things, I will have to publish the source code, because of the GPL license. Or: Is there any possibilities to buy a license, or is it neccessary, if I won't sell the XOOP software to the organization, only my work (design, installation, new modules).
- And another tricky thing: If I buy XOOPS, it will be on a server with a preinstalled mysql, but what about mysql? Should I buy it either?
Thanks for Your time, hope this topic is not needless! :)
