Hi,

I'm a total newbie here. i dearched the forums and didn't find anything that answers my question
which is:
Can I import the data from my YABB Gold forum into xoops. I have c ommunity forum and I'd love to be able to keep the old messages.

Any help would be appreciated

There was work being done on a module to accomplish this, but it looks like it's been discontinued:

I ead the thred. Thanks for pointing me there. I'm not really looking for a module to use yabb within XOOPS -- I'm looking to find out if the DATA (users, messages etc.) can be imported. Phpbb has the capacity to import the data from YABB or so it claims. YABB - at least the verion I am using, doesn't require a database.
