I am experience very slow speeds, sometime students can't get connected. I'm not sure if it's a server issue or not. I do know that my other site is fine http://www.miciganfootballforum.com

Funny thing is that it was running great then it started to slow.

Before slow - 20 users concurrently with good speeds - everyone logged on and was able to use the site.

Now - 12 users concurrently and some can't login. Very sloooow.

Site - http://www.tygertech.org

See what you think.

Hire qualified admin and tweak server - it can handle a lot bigger load, rhan I see in SiteStats.
Add some watchdogs, detect bad times and inspect at lleast apache log.

I agree with LB on this. On a properly configured server that doesn't have too hosting accounts on it, XOOPS really flies.

One of my sites runs 2.0.13.1 with no caching and has over 100 SQL queries just to load the homepage, and the page generation time is still under 0.5 seconds.

Given that the problems just started, I'd say that this is because of recently added users on the server you are on.

Hope this helps.

If anyone knows someone that can tweak the server and document what is done I'd be willing to pay them. I would like the documentation so I could learn from it. Also price. I can give them remote access to the server.
