I currently have an old site online.
I want to create a new XOOPS site, but customize/modify the site before going live and replacing the new XOOPS site with the old site.
Can I install XOOPS into a temp directory - for example, unzip XOOPS into
http://www.mysite.com/xoops THEN when I'm ready just move the contents of /home/mysite/www/xoops to /home mysite/www ?
Is this possible? What issues will I run into with this method? Any other posts that could help me out with this?
Thanks very much,
chris
