Editing a theme.

Hello,

i want to edit a XOOPS theme i downloaded and installed (7dana_xred) but when i edit the part im trying to edit nothing changes. Visit http://rctstop.com and take a look at the bar right under the banner. Im trying to add my own links instead of the default ones but when i add my links they dont change from the default links. Can someone help or tell me what to do?

Firsly, ensure your not uploading a cached copy of the file from your PC by closing down the file and ideally the application you're using to edit it (sounds obvious I know but I use Dreamweaver and all I was doing was uploading a cached copy)

Secondly, delete the content of your templates_c folder

Thirdly, ensure you have "Update Module Template .html files from themes/your themes/ templates directory?" turned to 'Yes' in System Admin --> Preferences.

Then try refreshing your page using Ctrl and F5 to force your borwser to refresh everyhting
