Checking file and directory permissions..
Directory uploads/ is NOT writable.
Directory cache/ is NOT writable.
Directory templates_c/ is NOT writable.
File mainfile.php is NOT writable


After i had a problem with apache and it wouldnt let me into the htdocs folder, i fixed it by doing
#cd /var/www/localhost
#chmod -R 774 htdocs

Now it wont let me have permission to write...
arghhhh

help :(

Re: Permissions

Use your FTP program to change permissions. In most cases right click on the file on the server and choose properties. Set the permissions to chmod 777.
