Changing author name in News Module?

I have decided to go back to the default news module, but I cannot change the author names of the articles on my site, so it now looks as though every article was written by me. How can I change the authors name?

You have two options :
1) you upgrade to the latest Release candidate (1.3.2) :
http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1008&release_id=60
With this version you can select the author of each article

2) you directly modify your database. You must, with phpmyadmin for example, edit the table called xoops_stories and replace the content of the field named uid with each author's Id.
