I am Installing XOOP2 on Windows 2003 server, didn't have a problem with Windows 2000 server. I am getting the following error message:

Warning: copy(../mainfile.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\xoop\html\install\class\mainfilemanager.php on line 52

Going through the install it said everything was writable and fine when after confirming that data I get this error message. Please is someone has any ideas let me know. I changed the permission to write permisson in windows and that didn't help either. HELP PLEASE

Make sure that the IUSER built in account has read write permissions on mainfile.php.

Guess it is listed as IUSR.

IUSR account with write permission fixed the problem guys and now I got the system up and running. So much easier in Windows 2000 server. I love this portal because now I see that it is cool and I am going to load it on my Linux Webserver. Thanx for your help everyone
