Hello!

I am having a hundreds of posting and trackbacks on wordpress comments from cassinos and stuff hackers. I guess that this is a hole on wordpress. Is there a way to prevent those online cassinos to post in wordpress comments?

yep. it's annoying. happened to my site recently.

Trencaspammers is the best i've tried:

trencaspammers - block comment spamming in wordpress for xoops

actually. trencaspammers worked for a while but now i have a spammer that can get through. . . so annoying.

Yes... we need to get hold of the wordpress module' owner.
I just sent an email to the admin of http://www.kowa.org. Let's see if he can give us a hand here.

bombed by casino online, poker, viagra...

OK. I just received the email from nobunobu (wordpress Owner) and he gave a link to download a pluging for this problem.
It is called WP-Blacklist plugin.

blacklist is not sufficient. there needs to be proactive measures like trencaspammer has, user has to actively input code. . . it's too much admin to constantly update the blacklist.
