Signature images in forum do not show

Signatures are not showing up in forum posts when the "attach signature" checkbox is selected. Is there some setting for enabling this functionality? Could it be a permission issue on the server?

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.9.2.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Strange. The signature will appear if "Always Attach Signature" is selected in the user profile. Is selecting that checkbox a requirement normally?
