i was wondering if there is a module that is kinda of like a jukebox and goes in a block and can maybe be fed a mp3 stream from a site and is constantly play. Also being able to stop and pause it.

Im not aware of one that already exists.

It would be a fun module to develop.

I would use Flash MX in a block to do this, along with the jukebox module itself.

You would be able to add new wav or mp3 files and users could then select which ones to hear.

Also, like most jukeboxes, it might play a random tune.

Letting users start and stop the audio, i think everyone would agree, this is a minimum requirement.


So here is the requirements list so far:

XOOPS JukeBox module
-Admin to edit the playlist
-Admin to upload new audio files
-Admin: approve new audio files submitted

-Block to deliver the Flash Player

-Users: possibly submit new audio files
-Users: Can press start to hear music
-Users: Can press stop to mute music
-Users: Can press pause

-Users: Can select random or a specific track


any other requirements to make a good jukebox module?

I think somthing good would be that as you click on say games the song doesnt start over it just keeps going, im not sure if this is possible. But i thought it would be pretty cool to have like say Hitzradio and it just plays as you go threw the site and not stop would this cause the site to be slower?
