Hi,

I'm a complete newbie, have setup a test XOOPS site and am exploring its possibilities (love what I see so far!)

I'm looking at changing my existing site into a XOOPS site - I have a fairly active phpBB forum (v2.0.11) already running on my website and was wondering if there is a module to incorporate my existing forum into the new XOOPS site (I have approx. 130 registered users and over 600 articles posted so don't want to lose the existing forum).

Is it possible to override the XOOPS BB Forum with my existing phpBB forum? I checked out the modules section on the site here but couldn't see anything related to phpBB forums.

newbb team is still currently working on the conversion script from phpbb (and other major forum apps).

the other option is to use the phpbb module for XOOPS (x-phpbb, please see: bbpixel.com). koudanzhi has just released the latest version of phpbb for the latest version of XOOPS (2.0.9.2). it's running flawlessly now.

the x-phpbb does a core hack though, please see: xoops faq on phpbb/ipb.
