Im in process of finding CMS and XOOPS is likely candidate and I have one question.
Trough my control panel of my hosting i installed XOOPS (in one click :) in XOOPS directory and in order to see something i have to write in my browser something like : http://www.something.com/xoops/
Is there any way to just write http://www.something.com to get xoops?
tnx people and sorry if thats been asked but couldnt find it

If there nothing in ...com/ you can place the files here from the XOOPS directory. Then you will get an error that there is a variable wrong. This variablele is in mainfile.php. Just rename the dir in there. It's in there twice.

If you cant save it then misc.php is in readonly. Adjust this before editting en after put it back in readlony.

or you could go into your server control panel, and goto DNS settings and then change your domain starting folder to point to /xoops instead of /

then you would only need to change the actual URL in mainfile.php as the path would still be the same :)
