News Post Problem

I did a search on the forums for this, but I'm convinced I'm either not able to search right, or it's not been covered recently.

I installed XOOPS for the first time on a new domain (manually) and everything is working, but the Admin account (haven't tried others) can't post news. I have access to the module, but when I choose anything other than the Preferences option, nothing shows up. It just keeps looping back to the same page with the three choices (General Configuration, Topics Manager, Post/Edit Articles).

Those three are all that I get, and General Config is the only one that works.

i think you must uncheck mark at "Set the date/time of publish"

Using PHP 5 without the directive "register_long_arrays" set to "on"?

I don't have control over the PHP aspect of the server I'm on. Is there a workaround?

Nope, I can't even get access to the post. Here, let me illustrate:

Resized Image

That's all I see. I can only click on "General Configuration" to get that screen. If I click anything else, it just refreshes back to this page.

The news posting script is a vital part of the site that we're going to be using. It's imperative that it works. The downloads section also won't let me add/edit categories, etc.

WTF could be going on?

Re: News Post Problem

anyone? The server has been set so that everything is writeable in an effort to try and isolate that as a problem. No change.
