Hi all,

Forgive me if I am cross-posting. I am trying to set up my site so that potential customers see a welcome message when they surf to my site, but when my existing customers log in, they do NOT see the sales blurb...How would I achieve that please?

You could set up a custom block like you want, then apply group permissions to the anonymous user group only. The block will be displayed to anonymous users and not to users that have logged in.

Glad too help.

That is the way my site is set up. No need to ask registered users to register.
