is there any plan to further improve the XOOPS poll module?

the current version of the xoopspoll does not even show the poll description we inputed?

it's really a sad thing, even though xoopspoll is part of the XOOPS core modules, it doesn't get enough attention.

the current version of xoopspoll even produce the following message, while trying to view the log through the administration screen:

Sorry, not yet.

i searched through the forum and found a lot of people asking about the future of this xoopspoll however all of them are never been responded.

i found the hack version of xoopspoll by wellwine (suggested by brash) and found it not working properly as well. creating more than 10 options for the poll produces problem with the colorbars. being not a coder i try my best to fix this , by comparing wellwine's code with the current xoopspoll code. i think i manage to make it work now.

can you guys (limecity) give it a try? xoopspoll kare hack

i can't make the view log feature work though.

really grateful if someone/one of XOOPS module developers can look at this and work on the xoopspoll improvement.

the features we really like to have is:
- archiving
- read only access for anonymous
[all please add]

my features for the next poll module and i wish someone develope this module:
- full group permission ( read/vote/create new poll need approve)
- ability to have more than one block to show polls( block fly )
- archive
- stats for one poll and all polls
- category for polls
- notification system (new poll,new category,new comment,...)
- rate polls
