Hello all,

I have done a few simple tableless/CSS sites, though I am certainly not a pro. I want to create my own theme, but I wonder what approaches some of you take to this task. Specifically I am talking about the blocks (L, CL, CC, CR, R). I guess it seems to me that if you had a very solid design and weren't going to change the layout once you start, you could position those blocks with CSS, but that wouldn't work well if you decided to change your mind later. I could be way off here though and perhaps you guys who do this completely edit the HTML/PHP.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

No, you can do it completely tableless with CSS. Have a look at the work by tjnemez and StudioC.
