I'm sure many of you know it's possible to have sites within sites, like for example, bbc.co.uk is the main site for the bbc. Then, then it has subsites like bbc.co.uk/nature, and bbc.co.uk/weather etc. Each folder has its own little sub-contained site relating to a specific area and all have links back to the main top site.

Can you do this with XOOPS by having seperate XOOPS installs for each subfolder? So you'd have a main XOOPS install at the root of your site, then another in the next sub folder etc? I assume you'd have to have seperate databases for each one, but other than that, I would expect it would be possible?

I'm not considering doing it - certainly not yet, but it may help me plan a few things for the future if I knew that was possible.

Cheers

Ted
