Hello

I have a question regarding the adsense code put as a XOOPS banner into rotation. XOOPS banners show on every page of the XOOPS system including the submit and login pages so when you put an adsense code as banner in XOOPS banner rotation it may show on those pages and as google says in it's policy:

Quote:
No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages. This includes error, login, registration, "thank you" or welcome pages.

thie meas that by putting adesense into standard XOOPS banner rotation violates their policy. Actually, that would mean that xoops.org itself violates it since you can easily see adsense showing on submit and login pages.

Now, is there any "special" rule to allow this or explanation or justification for portal systems such as this where it's rather hard to control where exactly will the banner show or not?

And is there a way of not allowing XOOPS banner to display in certain pages so i can disable it in specific submit and login pages?

Thank you.
Daniel

There's is no problem with mine one.

Maybe you have other banners code conflict with it.

I don't know if you understood the question.

I'm not having any technical problems with banner displaying or something like that. The google adsense banner code works fine and rotates with other banner very well.
My concern is of "legal" nature as i am not sure if i'm in violation of google adsense policy since the banner on top of the site also shows up in submit and login pages which means that adsense banner that rotates in it will show up on those pages too, and that may mean violating the google policy because as they say in it, they don't allow adsense ad units to display on login, thank you and similar pages which may also include our submit and login pages as well as the submit and login pages right here in xoops.org.

Can any of the xoops.org moderators and admins reply to this with their opinion since the sites questioned here include the xoops.org itself also?

Thank you.
Daniel
