My Forum does not go as far as the content of each topic.

After installing the software, I add the category and forum, then pretend to write new topic for each forum. However each forum does not display the content below the topic, that is, the thread. If I click the topic, there appears a blank page, not error message, just a white page.

Has anyone experienced this? or can you help?

After ticking all the caches for positive, it still has not worked. I used the group permissions to extend for all the groups but the topics do not go as far as the content of the thread which does not show up but the white page. The source view shows only one line of html.

Are you using newbb (the default Xoops's forum) and did you turn on the php debug mode in your admin ?

This is the whole message appearing after I turned PHP debug on:

'Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 4 by reference in /home/virtual/site25/fst/var/www/html/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php on line 256'

I started the forum using XOOPS as default.
