OK, here's my next project:

I want to offer free unlimited downloads of free information to anyone who surfs by my site.

Instead of sending the file directly to them when they click on DOWNLOAD (leeching), can I redirect to a custom block (already designed and working) where I get them to fill out their name, email address (adding to my newsletter list)?

Any thoughts?

Sincerely,

Dan Greenlee

Hi,

May be you could use a forum instead of modifying the module no ?
Insite each download, put a link to a forum where users could ask you to receive the file.

That's just an idea.

Bye,
Hervé

We plan on adding something like this to WF-Download v3 (I know but it won't be that far off the way the way we are going).
