How do I reference an image inside an html page uploaded as a page-wrap in tinycontent? Tried several different paths including a full url which caused problems.

Another problem is the page uses tables to allign text. When the page was written, in FrontPage, I set all table borders to 0 but they show in XOOPS with thin grey lines.

I normally strip the head and body tags and just include the table code. You can also just paste the code from FrontPage into the TinyContent wysiwyg editor. Done this way the page will be available in your XOOPS global search.

This works for me. First I upload the images to wherever, and code like this:

The text etc

I find frontpages default method does the job. I just redefine the url paths to the source image on my server.

The border in your tables could be something in your style.css /theme.html for your theme overriding this?

(Only about the first question)
Use TinyContent-Duplicatable.

TinyD has tree type of wrapping.

1) original wrapping
The base path is modules/tinycontent/
You have to put html in modules/tinycontent/content and images in modules/tinycontent separately.

2) same as wrapped page
The base path is modules/tinycontent/content/
Thus you can put them as is.
But you can't turn comment on.

3) using mod_rewrite
The base path is modules/tinycontent/content/
Multiple htmls are wrapped automatically, and thier relative links works perfectly.
And you can use comment feature.
But it is necessary condition that your server allows you to use mod_rewrite

You can select them by each page.
