i've had to change to a different host and this meant reinstalling XOOPS from scratch basically, due to the old host refusing to answer phone calls or reply to emails.

i've installed myalbum-p 2.5 which i had on the old server and was working perfectly.. I've set it up exactly as it was b4..

but every time i submit a new photo i get the following error:

DB error: UPDATE photo table

permissions on folders are 777 and also 777 on the netpbm folder..

the check configs etc shows:

when i check the upload folder it shows the filename as tho it's uploaded but when i try to open the image it says format not recognised.. the photo is a jpg

any ideas?

Did you set the executable permissions into netpbm files?
pnmscale,pnmtojpeg,jpegtopnm etc. should be 777 or 707.

yes, the files in netpbm are set to 777..

Did you make netpbm in new server?
As the files of netpbm are binary, it is not portable between two different environments.
