by Numelle on 2007/10/1 7:58:18 HI. So Thanks to all for help finding a solution. Now it works fine. The Problem was in the Editor I used and not in the Modul itself. Special Thanks to Peekay and gtop00. The standart DHTML Editor wasn't able to add a correct table. I installed Koivi (which is an excellent Wysiwyg Editor )and everything works correct now. Thanks Greeetz Numelle

by gtop00 on 2007/9/19 16:30:21 I am using News 1.44 with Koivi Editor that has an "Insert Quick Table" feature. Read this FAQ.

by Peekay on 2007/9/19 15:51:55 You are quite right. I had never noticed it was missing. Without this option, the editor will insert additional BRs between TRs if you paste a formatted table - i.e. the table code has natural line breaks. If you paste the HTML all in one line, it seems to work, however stripping out line breaks would be tedious if you have a lot of tables to add. I would replace the XOOPS editor in News with one of the WYSIWYG editors and see if that is an improvement. You should find instructions here on Xoops.org somewhere.

by Peekay on 2007/9/18 7:21:02 The default editor in XOOPS uses 'xoopscodes' to convert blank line-breaks in the editor to HTML line-breaks when you save an article. If you add any HTML code directly and get unexpected results, try selecting the 'disable XOOPS codes' button at the foot of the editor.
