Profile 1.75 is a version of Profile module for XOOPS that allows for a verbose registration to be done. It also allows for a Speed Test with the Speedtest module to be run before registration for user limits to be placed on internet speed for registering for a site.

This has a field for validation that allows for Text Match, RegEx or SQL Validation to be used to prevent people registering with your website without having validation data of sometype such as an existing email address or an invite code or some regular expression statement.

Featuring still Multiple Fields, 2 Types of validation - one which uses JSON; the other that uses the Field $_POST validation method.

Simply upgrade your existing XOOPS 2.5 to XOOPS Profile 1.75 to experience the difference. We can really recommend XinCodes 1.05 for a user based invitation to be done.

Now with IP Validation so an IP Address can be only used once to register. THis means you can check you are not being signed up by an Indian SEO Sweat Shop and other such misbehaviour in signup.

Download has the wrong Readme file. It is for xpayment! What a bunch of idiots.

I share your frustrations dyraven, but it's a shame you pick out Simon (Wishcraft) as an example. He's the most productive module developer at the moment, his modules are in general well documented and some get updated on an almost weekly basis. Don't judge him for a minor mistake with a readme file!

@wishcraft, will this module be part of the core 2.6? And is the module ready for test or final?

Oh thanks flipse, I just found this, I really appericate your comments as it is so oftern I don't have time to go through the forum posts and I oftern miss some of them. Sometimes I feel like a possession that is tauntable for the XOOPS Community as I never get any donation but kind words are better.

That really picked me up seeing you to coming to my defence, I just have to accepted I am loved at XOOPS..

@Renetjuh I am using it for production at the moment so I think you will find it find, you have to download my speedtest module if you want to do the speed test.

If you want to do speed tests before the module allows someone to register you will have to also install Speed Test (see: https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=74620&forum=66&post_id=343358#forumpost343358 )
