Well, i'm not the good one to help you develop it :(

But i will update french translation as soon as the module will ready!

I just look at it quickly : it looks very powerfull and give me so much ideas !

I really enjoyed the "search engine" to find an address on the google map - it's working well!!! Adding customized fields is really impressive too! I f we could have the same for each xoops module... let me dream ! ;)

I met some pb to access preferences, missing edit links,... but I'm already fan! Hope someone will be able to give you some help to finish this module !

Any news... In fact i saw a folder "xaddresses" on svn by luciorota updated 4 weeks ago... but i don't know how to download it ! :(((

I'm asking if i can test the module ... ? And update the french translation in the same time :)

For all websites which are not in english, don't you think easier to have a line like :

=> Module name / category / Subcategory

How make a dynamic website with text included in pictures ? Why not add a style and display module name ? Would be so much simple for none english and none old fashions website ;)

or at least add a disable option for this english image !

Modules : Too much infos display ! Don't you think ?

Looking at all the most used module on XOOPS, i would be interested to know if other xoopser share my opinion on this point :

=> Modules display more and more information (new fields each time), but often do not allow to manage the information display in preferences (there should be a part "display fields" with all fields : Yes/No)

So, on a lot of module, we get the date, the author, the number of view, the note, the vote... All these infos that we can't manage the display, often make the page "unreadable" !

That would be great to take it into account, so that we could keep all these interesting informations, but with the opportunity to not display it. I'm sure that a lot of XOOPSers xould like to keep a powerfull system with the possibility to get a simple and easy front site to use ! (without deleting info in php files after each update...)

I was thinking for exemple in news/xnews, mylinks,...

Thanks for sharing your ideas/opinions on it !

Hi all,

What do you think about deleting big module image when we update modules... that makes old html website !

Please delete those picture which take lot of space and are not usefull !!!

Are you agree with me ?

PS : if there is a reason to keep it, please explain it to me... maybe i'm missing something :)

That would be more useful to add on all module a text line with links like :
=> Module name / category / Subcategory

Can you tell me which translations (module?) are wrong so i correct them ?

If this is mylinks, that was corrected this morning and sent to Mamba... that would be updated quickly

I'm using only Firefox (yes i'm a fan !) and didn't meet problem with my xoops sites...

Did you check all your options? an easy way is to test with firefox on 2 differents computers, just to check if it could come from your parameters...

did you manage your blocks ?

=> You can access main content of your modules (pages) with the url (by default) :
http://www.yoursite.com/modules/news
http://www.yoursite.com/modules/profile
http://www.yoursite.com/modules/pm

(except if you are using url rewritting)

=>Also, for other content of your module, you can manage the display with the blocks (like the display of your menus):
http://www.yoursite.com/modules/system/admin.php?fct=blocksadmin

Look at your blocks for each module, customize the options, the place to display it, display yes or no, ... all options are in the block options
