So if I understand you correctly, the Moderators can ban the Admin from Chat module, but not from the Site itself, right?

If this is the case, then it's probably how the module is written.

You would have to probably modify it by making a check in code that the user who they are banning is not member of the Group # 1, which is the Webmaster Group.

You shouldn't change anything there. The path should be relative.

PM me your mainfile.php, and I'll take a look.

Angela, welcome to XOOPS!!!

Maybe you gave the Moderators the group rights of a Webmaster?

Normally you assign rights in the Groups, by creating a new group (Moderators), and then assigning them the Admin rights to the particular module, but not to the whole site.

Am I on "ignore" status?

Come on, Chefry, you know better that nobody ignores anybody here!

But people might not know the answer, or they are too busy.

When I look at your Errors, it seems to me that you messed up the directories. There are two different ones:
/home2/franksph/public_html/mainfile.php
/home2/franksph/include/common.php

Make sure that the paths in your mainfile.php are correct.

I think, the second one should be:

/home2/franksph/public_html/include/common.php

i just don't understand why don't XOOPS developpers import them?

Lack of resources?

It's always question of time and resources. We are volunteers who do this in the free time.

I am sure if somebody offers to pay for a such conversion, there will be developers who will be willing to do it, because they would treat it just as another client engagement.

So for the time being, we'll have to wait for somebody to volunteer.

In the meantime, there is work being done in Germany on merging Yogurt with Profile, so this might be something very good. There are also some other developments in this direction, as mentioned before in this thread.

I think, you can modify the Protector file that stores bad IP:

YouTrustPath/modules/protector/configs/badipsXXXXX

or you can delete it.

OK, we are ready for testing. We'll need a Greek translation of XOOPS 2.3.3, so we can set it up (right now I'm using an old Greek translation from 2.0.17, so a lot of translations are missing).

The domain will be:

http://gr.xoops.org

at present cbb is not working correctly with 2.3.3

The XOOPS Website is running 2.3.3 and CBB 3.08, and we don't experience any problems.
As you can imagine, this website is getting a lot of user traffic, so the Forums are working under stress conditions, and everything is good, so I don't understand your above statement.

Could you tell us more about your problems?

As other users already said - CBB 4.0 RC is out there, but we need to understand that all of these programs are developed by volunteers in their spare time. Sometimes work and family take the priority and then we have less time for development.

That's why it is so important that all of us will try to help XOOPS in any capacity that we can.
