I'm rebuilding a website from
XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.6
PHP Version 5.2.17
mySQL Version 5.1.73-log
to
XOOPS Version XOOPS 2.5.8.1
PHP Version 5.6.30
mySQL Version 5.5.5-10.1.21-MariaDB
And I'm having problems with Lexicon
Lexicon was Version : 1.11 and is now Version : 1.52 Beta 1 downloaded 2 days ago from github
from the backup sql I cut and pasted all the relevant Lexicon info and created a new sql
Then I imported the sql.

The backend shows the 1 category I created and ALL the entries
The frontend shows the 1 category I created and NONE of the entries
SO, what am I missing? Why Isn't it showing any entries on the front end?
Also, the background on the front end is the xbootstrap 'cover.jpg' image instead of a white background

I have an idea for a module to replace the xBootstrap slider
It's a slider module that will show any photo randomly in a subdirdrectory
The slider module would have a link attached to every photo that links back to an article in publisher.
So you can click on any photo in the slider and it will take you to the publisher article
Also, you can specify one "main photo", say your logo and you can specify how often it should show.
any photo that shows can be any size, because the slider module will shrink to fit and automatically center the image in the slider.
and you could also specify how many photos to show in the slider at the same time.

The code given gives php code in an html file and there are no directions as to where these files should be

In other words, someone likes the image they see. They click on it, and it goes to the article.

With the new core I installed a new version of Publisher and cloned it
When I installed the core on the localhost I used the same prefix in the DB setup
I've been copying sections from the backup mysql into the new database using phpmyadmin import
3 imports worked fine but the main file doesn't
Originally I used the Publish module as the main module. I decided to use the Publisher module only to clone and disabled it's access from the front page.
So, the data has to be imported to a "clone" of Publisher
I cut n pasted the relevant data from the backup mysql into a new sql file. I changed the files names to match the headers in the new db, and then I imported the new sql file into the mysql using phpmyadmin.
Two things happened
1) when I went into permissions, the list of categories is not alphabetic. Its all mixed up
2) I can't set Permissions to view categories for anonymous users. When I try I get Sorry, you don't have the permission to access this area. and it kicks me to the front page
