Many of us use Protector for obvious reasons


Now then, is there anyway we can take advantage of MP Manager at the same time as Protector?

Anyway, I'm going to try it for myself and let the Forum know if I have any major problem.

I need some Language Packs for v.2.0.16, specifically Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, for a site I'm trying to build for a friend who is a translator.

The Spanish support site sends me to dev.xoops.org which is down. I guess eventually it will be up so I can wait.

OK, I already have the Spanish language packs.
Two yet to go!


The Portuguese support site apparently doesn't exist anymore, so I looked in the three Brazilian sites and they don't recommend yet v.2.0.16.

The Italian support site neither recommends the new version, but 2.0.13.2.

I wonder where can I get these Language packs.

My last resort will be to have my translator pal to help in.

Only that that will consume more time for the schedule opening of his site.

Can any one help me find these file?

I really dragged my feet on this issue and only today I made something about it.



Only to find that neither answer is what I'm looking for.

To recur to xIPB implies to go use another forum in a site that has hundreds of topics and threads already in march.

MP Manager is only for the webmaster or a handful of users.

It puzzles me that there is no hack to PM or module that can substitute the original stuff.

Really? Nothing? Nobody?

Is there any new Quote module out there?

I really like WF Quotes, especially that it allows me to add a pic to the quotation.

But it doesn't seem to work right with XOOPS 2.0.1.4 and above. Apparently it has a bug that doesn't let me modify a quote. To do so I need to delete the category, but then I get rid of all my quotes.

I also tried Randomquote, but I couldn't fix the 255 character limitation --and it doesn't let me use pics.

Any advice for me?

Is there a module with which I can substitute the Private Message?

If not it should be.

I'd like it with a little more flexibility: forward function and carbon copy capacity for a start.
