I think "smartmail" with cron job feature can deliver content of any module automatically, I paid for develop it to work with older XOOPS ( may be 2.0.13.2 ) but I don't know if it is still working with XOOPS 2.4.x and 2.5
Also I have another module "newslatter" made by Trabis can use for deliver any content but manually. we can release it once Trabis have time for testing it on new versions of XOOPS.

I made module for show facebook comments (the ones posted on your site/blog using the Comments-Box plugin):

It is based on retrieve-fbcomments script (http://code.google.com/p/retrieve-fbcomments/ ), you need to login as facebook user to see new comments.
