Can I run Xoops on an intranet?
Yes. You can run XOOPS on any web server that supports PHP and MySQL. Whether the web server is connected to the public internet, or just your private intranet, or both, is irrelevant as far as setting up XOOPS is concerned.

While running in an intranet environment, be aware of user authentication issues (single-sign-on).
Xoops includes authentication routines that may take some work to disable.
