Firstly bare in mind the 2.2 versions of xoops are not recomended stable releases.
You Cannot upgrade from 2.0.14 directly to 2.2 versions of Xoops. The short and long answer is NO!
You will have to apply the following:
Xoops 2.0.7.x to 2.0.9.2 patch
Xoops 2.0.9.2 to 2.0.10 patch
Xoops 2.0.10 to 2.0.12a patch
Xoops 2.0.12a to 2.0.13 patch
Xoops 2.0.13 to 2.0.13.1 patch ( can go to ver 2.2, see below)
Xoops 2.0.13.1 to 2.0.13.2 patch (which is where I would stay)
See Note below re XOOPS 2.0.14!!! You cannot upgrade to 2.2 versions from 2.0.14 If you have 2.0.14 and wish to move to Xoops 2.2 versions you will need to downgrade back to 2.0.13.2. You can 'try' copy 2.0.13.2 over it but this is
untested!Once you have 2.0.13.2 then you can upgrade to:
Xoops 2.013.1 to 2.2.3
Xoops 2.2.3a patch
Xoops 2.2.4
Be sure to upgrade each patch effectively.
This tutorial will help Upgrading for Xoops 2.0.14Quote:
Due to a switch to the Subversion version control system since the release of XOOPS 2.0.13.2, there will be no 2.0.14 incremental upgrade packages released, to ensure both fresh installs and upgraded systems contain the exact same set of file. We apologize for this inconvenience. You may want to use the newly provided checksum verification script to ensure there was no problem during the files upload (see instructions below).
