Is it possible to download files like manuals from a forum post?
Forum posts can link to any URLs icluding files and zip downloads. The latest version of newbb has the option of linking attachments to a post and this is one way to make files available to others.
Alternatively, the file can be uploaded to the server using ftp or a file uploader, or to any another server, then the address posted as an URL in the forum post.
