How do I insert a hyperlink?
Generally in all text areas of an XOOPs site, you can insert hyperlinks very quickly and easily. On top of text areas, you usually will find something like a row of buttons, the first one with a 'chain link' symbol. This is the hyperlink button. If you click on it, you will be asked 2 questions. First : the URL of the link. This is the actual link. For example, if you want to insert a link to this page http://www.yahoo.com, you'll enter this: URL of the hyperlink Hit the Ok button. The second question to answer will be: Enter the web site title. This is the name of the link itself. This is what will appear in your message. For example if you write Yahoo Web Site and hit Ok, then, in your message, it will be appear as : Yahoo Web Site, and when users will click on that link, they will be transported to http://www.yahoo.com.

link relative within text and xoops code?

First of all, XOOPS rocks! At least sometimes. However, I tried to find a list with XOOPS code which I can use in the text. Impossible, I really don't know where to find this little thing.

Why? I just want to put a relative link in one of my text's (I am going to change the domain name soon, so I need it relative).

Any links where I can find useful information?

I tried something like this:
contact us here.
contact us here.
and about 5 other variations.

Any idea? I keep on trying.

Re: link relative within text and xoops code?

have you tried using XOOPS constants and smarty tags?

Constant: XOOPS_URL (in uppercases)

Smarty: <{$xoops_url}>

Perhaps it works.

 Broken Image

This would probably be a little more helpful if the image used to help explain wasn't missing.
