No, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case.

Sl4vezero began working on a fork of this module, he applied the fixes that I indicated to the module to work with XOOPS 2.3+ and made some improvements to use mod_rewrite

Very good content module. While originally made for 2.0.x, it is at least compatible with 2.4.3.
