In the past few weeks, we have made considerable changes in the core, the changes mainly being migration of function based codes to fully object oriented codes, utilizing design patterns. As has been said, we are not pouring much energy into development of modules at this time, since most of them will be replaced with the new sections module in the future version. A documentation page is also currently under construction, which includes user(admin) manual, and themes and modules docs for developers. We will also be creating a fully detailed class structure documenation, utilizing phpDoc and UML diagrams.
Within a few days, we will start beta testing with a number of selected members and then re-open the CVS server at sourceforge.net. Thanks for the patience and all will be revealed very soon.
Also, please don't forget to read our Roadmap for more details on XOOPS 2.
This is a little bit of Chinese New Year style and you can change the view by your mind..

I have setup a website for WF-Sections, complete with a forum etc. During the next few weeks I will add docs and help files for those who may need help with this module.
Please feel free to post bug reports, update requests and anything else that may help the future development of WF-Sections.
Offer your visitors and users a free christmas and new year voice email service with this module. I have fixed some critical path problems which should make it quite easy to install the new version. Those who have installed V 0.1 should upgrade now.
A security vulnerability within the Visitors 2 module has been brought to our attention.
The XOOPS team would ask that anyone using this module, please discontinue it's usage by deactivating it and removing the Vistors 2 module from your system completely. The vulnerability makes it possible for someone without any privileges to execute rouge php code on the host system compromising security. As an example, we were handed a sample of our etc/passwd file.
We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause but we strongly advise discontinuing using this module. Since this is not an official XOOPS module, it has been depreciated for the upcoming XOOPS 2 release.
Thanks, XOOPS Team
Note: This vulerability is not possible if allow_url_fopen is set to 0 (the default is 1) in the php.ini file.

I normally don't compose articles like this but, I think this is a significant leap for PHP IDE's especially since it's free and backed by many major corporations.
Ok, after some digging I found a killer little all-platform editor called JEdit (http://www.jedit.org) and it's awesome. Once you install this puppy, you can download dozens of plugins!
