I don't think this is a problem unless you have thousands of thousands voice emails to store.
The voicemail store is on your server.
An average voicemail is hardly longer than 3 minutes = 100 k
(the webmaster has the possibility to limit the total recording time to x minutes, in the demo version max 20 sec is allowed)
You can autodelete with a ftp script existing emails older than x days or weeks to make space for new ones.
The space problem, in my opinion, is not an issue for small or medium sized sites. If things get out of hand, you may limit the feature for registered users only or for active or special users. You may let the unregistered users have, say, 1 minute, and registered users 5 or so. Whatever.... The time limit can be set in the applet (once again the demo version is limited anyway to 20 sec. the full version you may set to nearly whatever your like. I set it on my page to 5 minutes and I noticed that most of the users stay below 3 minutes per voicemail.)

yes, the admin can delete within certain time limit is good.
i wish it can auto delete too after certain time set so if admin is away, it wont be a problem.
Re: New v-xmail Version 0.2 releasedThe auto delete feature after a set time will be a feature of the next version. You can do it already now if you have a ftp client like cute ftp pro and write a script to delete files older than x days within a given folder. Or by a cron job...
