Now French speaking “Xoopsiens” are going to be able to find all the necessary information about their favourite CMS on one and only one address: http://www.frxoops.org.
The WolFactory is proud to announce the release of MultiMenu 1.5. This new version encomprises some interesting and very expected modifications :
Pictures now support relatives links (alike links)
Dynamic sublinks are now supported (Yay !)
Many thanks to Do Huynh Ngoc Huy from aitvna, who made that wonderfull and very expected modification ! I have included (and adapted) his modification to the original multiMenu. Pay attention : sublinks work only if you use the same directory as the main link ! Exemple : Main link -> modules/news/ Sublink -> modules/news/submit.php (will show up) Sublink -> modules/mydownloads/ (won't show up) This version is not compatible with previous version of multiMenu (due to new data base entry). Please uninstall previous version before installing this one... Enjoy !
The pm-block module is a module for managing the PM`s from a block.
For those, who don`t like to recieve their personal messages in their (full) email account, a small module was written, which gives a complete information over the xoops pm-account in a block.
Got a little distracted this week and as a little side project I have created a smarty insert plugin that displays the page execution time, and MySQL queries generated to render each page. The advantage of using the insert method is that the insert function code is always executed each time it is invoked, and isn't cached in the template along with all the other output data. This meaning that the page timer and MySQL counter figures are always going to be current and relevant to the page being displayed, regardless of if block and/or module cache is active.

I am pleased to announce a new XOOPS website Envision-IT. This site uses what I think is an innovation in style sheets:
- All Left & Right Menu Blocks appear on the Right hand side (right float) - Center Left(CL) and Center Right(CR) Blocks spilt the top half of the Main Text area (leftfloat) - Center Center Block follows below the dual CL/CR section (leftfloat) - the theme is set to display with a 900px width
The theme is available for download on the site itself (creative common license)... see the Downloads area.
As part of the long road to creating an Auction System for Xoops, the first module "Code Data management" (CDM) has been released and can be downloaded at here.
What does it do? CDM offers the following functionality; * Provides a central repository for all codes that may be used in one or more Xoops applications * Provides central management of code data utilising Xoops group authority mechanisms * Provides a program API based on xoopsObject that can easily extended for additional application functionality
CDM is a something for the application developer's toolkit rather than an end user app. Further info at the author's website
