Dutch culture and architecture portal
And yet another new Xoops site. It's a site around culture and architecture in the Dutch city 'Almelo'. It is meant to be promotional on the one hand and on the other hand to provide a platform for citizens to discuss developments in their city.
It uses a variety of stripped down modules and is loosely based on the 'karate redux blue' template - altough it's hard to still recognize it as such.

Xoops Planet 1.0 is released
Xoops Planet, yet another PHP version of feed planet.
Similar with module “XMLine” but with new advanced features:
1 articles are stored to local database and editable
2 Blogs are multiple-categorized
3 users can comment, rate blogs/articles
4 original author could be notified if his blog/articles are commented or tracked
5 users have their Xoops-based bookmars

Promo campaign for XOOPS
Within a few weeks we would like to start a promotional campaign to spread the word of XOOPS!

B-Global Theme
The B-Global theme is a clean, dark blue theme that uses a fixed-position 3D globe as the page background.
There are two versions of this theme included with this package. The first version is called B-Global and is intended for standards compliant web browsers. The second version is called B-Global-IE and is indented for Internet Explorer.
The primary difference between the two themes is the body background image and the blockContent background. The IE version has a slightly faded version of the 3D globe and no background image applied to the blockContent class. This is to prevent page "jerkiness" when scrolling. IE is the only browser tested that has this problem.

Sportsclub SaltoCity.dk
The gymnastics-club 'Salto City' in Copenhagen, Denmark, moved their site to XOOPS about 1.5 year ago, and during the summer we have upgraded to 2.2.
The latest update provided features to add our Team Module, that can list the status of all our sport-teams, along with descriptions of the teams, coach details and place of activity.
This module is still under development, but is currently in a working 0.5 version.
The site is all in Danish, so international guests will have to guess their way around..
at least for now...
