New Japan Support Site Certified For Local Support.

Xoops.org and the Liaison Team are proud to announce the official certification of http://www.xoops.jp as a Local Support Site.

The administrator of this site has expressed interest in supporting XOOPS and XOOPS Cube on his site. I think this is a great addition for the support of Japanese language speaking users.

I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to the webmaster and his team for their support of XOOPS.

XOOPS For Dummies and MyPage Mirrored

As of recent, the XOOPS for Dummies guide was pulled offline. In the interest of maintaining this valuable resource to the community, the XOOPS for dummies documentation has been temporarily mirrored at MyWebResource.

Link: http://mywebresource.com/xfd/

The permanent home of the XOOPS for Dummies guide has yet to be determined, but I will make sure that the guide remains available until the permanent home is decided.

Also, the MyPage module download was removed at the same time as the XOOPS for Dummies documentation. Personally, I have found this to be one of the most versatile and handy little modules around. In the interest of keeping this module available, I've recreated the module with a couple small changes. You can now download the PageWrap module (renamed from MyPage) at MyWebResource as well.

Link: PageWrap Module Download Page

Please Note: The XOOPS for Dummies guide and the MyPage module are the original work of JackJ and I take NO credit for his work. He has made a tremendous contribution to this community with these two resources and should be thanked appropriately. I have found these resources to be indispensable and am eternally grateful for them. Thank you JackJ!

The sole reason I've chosen to mirror JackJ's work is to ensure that this resource will always be available to those who need it.

Best Regards,

JMorris

Resized ImageOpenSourceGids.nl is aimed at helping Open Source Software to get better exposure as viable business solutions. iSearch version 1.0

Introduction
It's very easy to know how visitors came to your site and what keywords they used to find it.
This can be done with the statistics provided by your host and you can even now use Google
Analytics for this.
But once users are on your website, what are they searching for ?
That's what this module is intended to do, it records all the searches made by visitors on the
form of keywords.
Joomla's got a such feature but not Xoops, that's not anymore the case with iSearch (wich stands for
Internal Search)

New look of XOOPS sites - "Artezian for you"

After week of hard, but useful and productive work with designer Demiurge Ash (hey, he is really Demiurge) I'm very proud to present new site of Artesian archaelogical expedition
Yes, it's still old good XOOPS, but it allowed me to implement flexible, uncommon design, created without the caution to the possible limitations from CMS-side
Mostly based on intensive usage of TinyD (which, which bundled SPAW-editor, solved most problems of maintaining site for non-technically oriented customer), site is live now, but, as any Art, it's permanent beta in the evolution.

Sorry, content is (except photos) in Russian only, but I hope, you'll like look of site

Artesian - impossible becomes the reality
