Xoops becomes political
We are realy proud to present you the brand new website, of the german party Aktionsgemeinschaft Buergerbuendnis-Berlin (I want to see who can say this

It is a little party, but they can get a lot of votes. In September we have local elections in Berlin.

IdolNotes! - all American Idol, all the time!
I realized I forgot to officially announce to the Xoops community a new site I created a few months ago at http://www.idolnotes.com.
IdolNotes! is a community site for fans of the reality tv show, American Idol. After 5 years of closet fanaticism, I decided to take the plunge and build a site for fans of the show. It's still young and in bad need of some graphic design, but Xoops has proven to be an effective platform for the site.

Dudes hope u like my new revamped website i have made some modifications to the base theme from astonthemes.com . I want to tell everybody that XOOPS is the best CMS i ever used and will be its supporter till i leave. I tried many CMS but this CMS is kick a$$. Others where kinda crap, i may have tried 10 to 20 CMS before i stumbled upon Xoops. I LOVE IT. Plus the community is quite helpfull any question is answered in a day maybe less.
My site is all about tech, hardware, software mobiles, gaming, open source and all other nerdy stuff (like the slashdot website).

Profiles 0.90 Beta Released
The profiles module allows admins and/or users to profile people, places and things.
This module is perfect for music sites to allow users to add thier band or their own musicians profile, clan sites to allow players to detail their own profile so other team members can see who is on their team, churches to allow the pillar members to be highlighted, and many other uses you can imagine.
http://www.Intense4x4.com uses it to allow their users to profile their 4x4 rigs. Some people have more than one rig, so they can maintain more than one profile.
We are looking for translators to provide other language files, before we release Profiles 1.0!
Let us know before you do so we can make sure we dont get more than one person doing the same language.
Testers needed! If you could test this module and put it through its paces, that would be great. I havent had a chance to test it yet on XOOPS 2.2+ so if you are able to test it, please let me know your results.
Once we get the major languages and all the bugs out, we can release 1.0 final.
After that, feature requests are welcome for future versions.
