I can't tell you how thrilled I am with the progress of Xoops. I have been using Xoops for the past four years and have installed it on many websites.
I was slightly disappointed when I upgraded to 2.2 although there were many features that were great. When I downgraded to 2.0.13, I had to completely redo the site because the downgrade did not go well.
However, the upgrade is great! And the modules have so improved the functionality of my website and the ease of taking care of it. And after being down for nine months, the site has taken off like never before.
To all the Xoops developers, I can't thank you enough. You are helping to make the internet a better place for us.
Introduction Boox (Blocks Out Of Xoops) is a module who's finality is to help you to manage content that Xoops can't access but wich is part of your site.
Typically, this content is created on the form of blocks wich are not parts of a Xoops module and that's also a content wich is, in general, placed in the theme. With the module, you can create as many "virtual blocks" as you want, they are saved in files (the module does not use database) and you just need to call them in your theme with the following line of code :
http://www.futbolchileno.com have been relaunched after severals years been down. the site was relaunched thanks to XOOPS CMS wich allow us to manage the site and make it easy to adminstrate.
The theme is from xdigitalnet so we have our own unique one
Wraps is a module created by GIJOE for wrapping HTML pages into xoops contents.
It is easy to install and allows unlimited HTML content to be added without individual page input from admin. Complete websites may be imported into xoops and they will display within the xoops contents section. In addition all pages are xoops indexed, even within recursive folders. Also page URLs are displayed without query strings. The module is duplicateable. If you are new to xoops and have an existing HTML site, this is an excellent solution for adding your content.
