Coopagrimar from Costa Rica

Although is not finished yet, I would like to show a site I´m working on:

This is a site belong to a cooperative in Costa Rica in the beautiful area of Zarcero.

I implemented this site using basically a free css theme called travelportal, of course I introduce some changes, using the left column to contain left and right blocks, not center blocks at all, also some scripts as lightbox for some of the pictures, and shuffler for the transition images in the front page.

With patience and a little work on colors, an average xoopers can achieve nice results IMHO

WF-Channel V2 RC

What is WF-Channel?

WF-Channel is a module to display Misc pages on your website. This module is not a replacement for a content module, though it could be easily used as such if required.

WF-Channel can also display a 'Link to US' and 'Refer' pages.

Fixed: Removed all known 'english' hardcoded language
Fixed: No sql file with last package, sorry about that one
Fixed: Refer Email, missing database field and count not saved
Fixed: Default Page was not updated correctly, could have more than one default page. bad!!
Fixed: Page Menu link still shown if page was default or selected
Fixed: css bug when no pages in database
Fixed: If no default page selected, WF-Channel will no longer exit with a redirect but show a no default page
Fixed: The amount of Refer emails sent in admin area
Added: Block, add a block to show new pages. (will add a wf-channel menu of requested
Added: Better more friendly error handling, erros should just not fail for no reason
Changed: Removed the 'Create Tab' to a link above the Page listing. (saves Space)
Changed: Function name wfc_upload to avoid conflicts with WF-Channel clones.

Please Note: My new website is not setup yet, so support for this module will have to be done on this site for now. I will update you when I have things up to date.

My pro website wearing its new theme. Still under dev. Ajax effets preview.

Mylinks php5 compatible

Mylinks version 1.10, the standard Xoops weblinks module wasn't working on my site anymore after upgrade to php5. With help from Shine I made it work again by changing some code.

Maybe other people use this simple but still good working weblinks module aswell so I decided to release it here as version 1.11

This module is as is and not developed by me, all credits for that go to the original designer. I just made it php5 compatible

Vista_K Theme

Vista_K theme is a 3column XOOPS theme.

3d column (right one) is mandatory and if you don't have right column blocks, the center ones WON'T span to fill the void left!!.

Since transparency is something that older version of IE can't do, the theme file includes special tags for IE browsers and special tags for al the other major ones.

Folder contains header PSD for link personalization, the theme itself (dooh!), and readme file which i strongly advise you to read it before start messing with the theme

New Web 2.0 theme: mrtechie

I convert another theme from freecsstemplate.org (you can always find some fantastic themes there!)

Like usual, the demo can be found at XOOPS Zen Garden China. Mrtechie should be the default theme and if it are not, you can choose mrtechie from sidebar.

Xoopsgallery appears again

Days ago Glen Starrett it published a call in the main page of xoopgallery

This module allows the integration of the administrator of images “Gallery” like a module of xoops.

Its main advantage is that it has an ample development with all the functionalities that can be happened to them, to that is possible to be acceded easily from the blocks.

Opening of the XOOPS Foundation official web site!

Opening today October 1st 2007, the XOOPS Foundation web site is the place where everything related to the Foundation will be published. This site will be a place of transparency and a tool to help achieve the Foundation mission : support the XOOPS Project and the XOOPS Community in any way it can.

XOOPS Uploader Security Patch Released

There is potential vulnerability identified in uploader class in case upload configuration is not set properly by modules.
The patch is applicable to all XOOPS versions.

Download from SourceForge XOOPS.

Instructions:
Upload the two files /class/uploader.php and /class/mimetypes.inc.php to your /class/ folder and overwrite existent files.

You are highly encouraged to implement the patch to your existent XOOPS system.

XOOPS 2.0.17.1 RC2 released

The XOOPS development team is pleased to announce the release of XOOPS 2.0.17.1 RC2.

This is merely a bugfix release. Some main changes include:
- Bugfix for login problems with some IE browsers caused by session_regenerate_id on some PHP versions;
- Improvement on uploader mimetype check
