Re: World Time module for XOOPSI like this module, but it is not consistent with current time, in some displayed countries because of the extra hour added on for summertime. Example United Kingdom is one hour ahead of time displayed in world time module and also USA is ahead too one hour.
Otherwise its a great module. Maybe there is a way to correct this from the module?

Since I am in USA, I know the displayed time for US is correct (including PST, MST, CST and EST. as you might have seen, I live in California). I don't know for other places -- I just looked up the time zones and set up accordingly. So if you are sure that the time displayed in your place is not correct, please let me know. I am gonna check the setting for UK right now.

* added Tokyo, Ottawa and Amsterdam;
* replaced some country names with city names to make it consistent;
* removed UK temporarily (replaced GMT/UK with GMT). will add London after I figure out the correct setting for UK. thanks Serge for telling me about this error

The way to get the correct time from London UK in, is to substitute "GMT" with the full name "Europe/London" in the code (index.php, line 238).

As you can see, there is no predefined time zone for UK. the time zone in UK is not exactly GMT, but it's GMT with daylight saving. Current time zone offset in UK is GMT +1; while after daylight saving time ends, it becomes GMT +0...Those predefined three-letter time zone IDs can handle daylight saving automatically.
I will see if there is any workaround..

java 1.1.8 is indeed quite old..
But I think it depends on the client version, as I run IE 6. With me the mentioned change "Europe/London" did work, you can see it in action at our site: Cam at Frank & Fem
But anyhow: it is not a big issue. Still like the module !

Re: World Time module for XOOPSAlso running IE6 but when I visited "Cam at Frank & Fem" the London/UK clock was greyed out (not displaying) so it possibly depends on whether the end user has a later (than 1.1.8) JDK version installed on their workstation.
Re: World Time module for XOOPSWell, I want to use the module inside our intranet. We are an international company and it is not acceptable that the time is not displayed correct. I wonder why there is a 2 hour difference between Berlin and London. Both have daylight saving, so the difference should be one hour.
London is GMT and Berlin is GMT+1. So why is the difference two hours?
