Some details for improvement.
The half center block titles have no background.
They are not spaced evenly.
The titles have a 1px border that makes them look to have a different width.
The main menu in black and white should follow the colours of the other blocks and links.
The blocks in left and right column should not collate but spaced by eg margin-bottom:10px;
The titles should be more centered vertically in the head of the blocks eg by some padding-top
Somewhere border is used with 4 colours. This is wrong (only 1 possible). Use border-color.

to ghia's list i'd add ...
pay more attention to quality of the images which is quite low in the header; that includes the menu you added there where buttons should have transparent background
Anyway there's a lot of potential and I think / I hope we'll be seeing great themes from you in the future :)
