that is f#$@ bogas! Big company just going after small little companies to make money, because they know they don't have the money to afford big time lawyer to defend themselves. They know they wouldn't have chance in hell if they tried sueing, amazon.com, ebay buy.com or someone that can afford to fight the lawsuit and file a counter one. Just going after the small little guys as revenue.. what a shame. I really hope their lawsuits get thrown out. That is like stealing for a damn senior citizen.. just wrong.

I hope the courts slam these assholes with a MAJOR financial penalty for bringing these nuisance lawsuits.

I think this is some stupid companys way of making revnue. I really think that if most of the case go to court they won't win. But it cost money to go to court, so they are probably hoping for a quick settlement of 1 or 2 grand.
i hope someone files a big counter suit against them and they loose all the money they made and alot more

sure is a crazy world, I read the pages in depth and I see that some of the sued comapnies have alreday settled the case by giving in to these idiots. gez. get a backbone already.

This does set a precedence - and I have a bad feeling that if nobody stops this, then someone idiot claiming to be the ancestors of Charles Bool will try and have some sort of lawsuit against anyone using binary (or maybe just who develops code that uses binary rather than just the end users).
It is madness - but obviously people are scared 
. That is ofcourse, unless, this isn't a hoax.

It is just a revenue making sceme by this company to target people who cant fight it. They will see you for something like 2.5 million, but will settle for 2,000 dollars easily. Therefore, if you can't afford a lawyer and know that you might lose you don't want to pay up 2.5 million.. so they just settle.
It is just a revenue makin sceme but the company.. why do you think they are not targeting big name companies? amazon.com, ebay.com, buy.com, dell.com.. and so on?? Because they would fight back and win because their case is bogas. Then they would file a counter lawsuite and probably win.
Just give it some time.. on the those companies they are suing will have a little more cash then they though and hire a good lawyer to fight and file a counter lawsuit and get rapped. I'm not sure they would even go through the whole lawsuite process if you refuse to settle.. because it costs them money to bring it to coure.. and the lawsuit has a good chance of getting thrown out.
Basically.. it looks like a sceme to intiminate small mom and pop companies that can;t approd a big lawsuite to settling for someting small. I really hope someone really follows a counter lawsuit and smokes their asses
